OmniGrants Plus was founded in 2004 when owner / senior consultant, Artelia M. Covington recognized a need for affordable expertise in the areas of business development and grant writing services.

She saw a trend that reflected non-profit organizations that were delivering relevant, effective programs and services plagued by NO long-term funding or limited access o funding because they did not feel competent to write a formal proposal or were too busy delivering programming to have adequate time to even look for potential funding sources.

Another component of the needs assessment identified several entrepreneurs with viable business visions who did not have the knowledge base to design a thorough and marketable business plan.

Into this ongoing crisis, stepped Ms. Covington armed with an English degree, a state-of-the-arts MBA, and 15 years of grant writing experience. In the first three years of operation, the firm secured over 3.2 million dollars in state and federal funds for clients.

Currently based in the Washington DC - Maryland area, OmniGrants Plus continues to serve clients nationwide with the highest level of effort and integrity.
